Poison him, the blind him, the shred his weak points with Retrofit. I would still keep fighting mostly in the square starting area, clearing ads and kiting the Tormentor if he makes it all the way to you. You may not want to damage him too much from here until you kill the first Tormentor, lest two spawn at once.
